Terms of service

Last updated: September 10, 2026

These terms govern the use of the Auditavi service.

Service provider

Auditavi is operated by El Boukili El Hassani, El Ghali, a sole trader registered with the Belgian Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number BE1032.241.237. Small business under the VAT exemption scheme: VAT not applicable. The registered office address is available on request at support@auditavi.be.

Description of the service

Auditavi lets an accounting firm upload a scan of a handwritten cash book and receive an Excel file with each line extracted and the totals recalculated. Extraction is AI-assisted and can contain errors, which is why every cash book must be reviewed before export.

Registration and account

Registration is per firm. The account owner is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and for keeping their credentials confidential. A firm may invite team members up to the limit allowed by its plan.

Subscription and billing

The subscription is monthly, with no fixed term, and can be cancelled at any time from your account. A 14-day free trial applies to a firm's first subscription; at the end of the trial, the payment method on file is charged automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store any payment card data.

Documents you upload

You warrant that you are authorised to upload your clients' documents and to process their data as part of your accounting engagement. You remain responsible for reviewing and validating the data before posting it in your accounting software.

Liability

Auditavi provides a data-entry assistance tool; it does not replace your professional judgment. We cannot be held liable for the consequences of a misread value that was not corrected during the review step provided for that purpose.

Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is". We use reasonable efforts to keep it reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the complete absence of errors or downtime.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you, on any grounds, is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past twelve months. We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from your use of the service. This limitation does not apply to wilful misconduct or gross negligence on our part, in line with Belgian law.

Indemnification

You indemnify us against any third-party claim arising from a use of the service that breaches these terms or the law, in particular in connection with the documents you upload.

Force majeure

We are not liable for a failure to meet our obligations caused by an event beyond our reasonable control, including an outage at a third-party technical sub-processor.

Intellectual property

The software, its brand, and its content remain the property of Auditavi. The documents you upload and the files you export remain yours.

Data protection

How your data is processed is described in our Privacy policy. As controller for your clients' data, you agree to our Data processing agreement (DPA), which automatically applies to your subscription.

Termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account; it remains active until the end of the period already paid for. We may suspend an account in case of abusive use or non-payment.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Liège.
